NICOLE'S SILHOUETTE

THIS WAS A FUN LITTLE PROJECT NICOLE'S CLASS DID AT SCHOOL.
SHE SAID EVERYONE KEPT TELLING HER THAT:
"IT LOOKS LIKE YOUR MOM."
WELL, I'D EVEN HAVE TO AGREE! KIND OF FUN- AND NOT TOO SURPRISING- SINCE MOST PEOPLE HAVE ALWAYS SAID THAT SHE LOOKS LIKE A "LITTLE ME".

HAPPY EASTER

JUST LOVE THE THINGS THE KIDS MAKE AT SCHOOL!!!

Just a couple of thoughts............

"The way we choose to respond when others make mistakes can cause them to feel ashamed or can allow them to remember our kindness and share our stories with future generations. We choose our legacy that gets passed down to others."(from "Welcome the Rain")
_______________________________________________________________________

"Differing views, opinions, and beliefs add texture and color to the world’s tapestry. Choose to stand (or sit!), speak up, and act out for what you believe. Controversial times, while difficult to weather, can change the world."
_______________________________________________________________________

"The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly; it is dearness only that gives everything its value. I love the man that can smile in trouble, that can gather strength from distress and grow brave by reflection."~Thomas Paine

SCARVES.....

A couple of weeks ago our elementary schools had a week off from school. Eric stayed busy making these scarves for his cousins and Aunts. I am not sure how many he has made so far, but A LOT. He is very good at making them and I think he is so thoughtful - he is always thinking of someone new who might like one!
