...a great thing

Alma said, "By small and simple things are great things brought to pass" Alma 37:6

"I couldn't possible have understood this when I was young like I do now. When we look back on decades of life we see that the seemingly insignificant things we do over and over actually weave the pattern of our lives. And if those small and simple things are good, we will end up having lived a fulfilling life---and that is a great thing! (Marjorie Pay Hinckley)

THE SABBATH DAY

We really are trying to teach our kids to keep the Sabbath Day HOLY - I have a friend(LeOni)who tells her kids that "if the activity can be done in their Sunday clothes, and they feel good about it, then it's probably fine to do" - well, I haven't discussed this particular rule with my kids - but last Sunday after the kids got all dressed and ready to go- there was some extra time(and lots of SUN) and this is where I found the boys.........

SUN......SUN......SUN.......

We have been so happy to see more sun this week!!!

Someone told us about a new green belt that has been 'started ' down along the river- so we decided that we would go check it out!

Eric brought his ripstick, and Nicole brought her roller blades - so they were a bit disappointed when the pavement ended and it turned to dirt......Ryan and Jason were happy to have their bikes!

We had a nice time just being together........... (Jessica was with Grandpa & Grandma W.)

Eric -throwing rocks......

Ryan-throwing rocks at the ice,............

Jason waiting for everybody to catch up........

Nicole...(on foot)....waving to the camera........
