Eric tried out cross country this year! He did amazing for his first year and as a
7th grader! - A few people had to sort of twist his arm to get him to run cross country(ALL of the boys on Eric's basketball team play football before basketball starts - and since Eric does not want to play football- they convinced him to run cross country - guess they were afraid he would be the only one not in shape if he didn't do something....)

Jess is definitely the prettiest girl on the team (not that looks are everything--but its always nice to hear that someone thinks your pretty.) You are amazing and I don't know how you get it all done! Eric is such a talented kid (ever think that half of his genes came from you--you might have been the greatest cross country runner EVER if you had tried out!) The kids just had a two week fall break and it was KILLING me to not run up there while we had the chance...I just wasn't quite up for that much travel quite yet. Your canning blogs inspired me to actually get my peaches canned...quite the feat (ryan helped, otherwise, they probably would've rotted on the counter!) Love ya!
What a busy life you lead! It's like I'm getting a glimpse of my future, especially having 3 boys-I'm sure I have my share of sporting events ahead of me!
