Thanks Grandpa & Grandma

Thanks for inviting us over for dinner last night!
We had tons of fun cooking over the fire!
The kids haven't stopped talking about it -
and can't wait until next time!
WE LOVE YOU!
(mom you'll have to send me the pics you took)

Sewing....

When we were first married I sewed quite a bit -
but, as the babies came along and life got busier,
and the house too crowded to have all the sewing stuff out-
(and little fingers kept turning all the sewing maching knobs) -
I sort of gave up on it (for about ten years)-
lately I have just really been wanting to sew something -
but haven't made it to a fabric store.
The other day I thought I'd go into the local Youth Ranch to see if there were any baseball cleats.
I didn't find any cleats - but this chunk of fabric was staring at me!!!
I love it - and turned it into this.....
(ya got to love a dress that only costs $3.71)

thanks mom for encouraging us in 4-H all those years!
Aunt Mary, thanks for your help, too!
I LOVE you both!

Nicole's 4th grade Idaho History Program

We got to go out to the school today and watch Nicole's program.
It was called "West We Go To Idaho."
They all did a really great job!
As you can see - she was an Indian.

our Valentine's Day Adventure....

SO.....I reallly ought to just turn this whole blog over to Jessica -
I am sure she would keep up on it WAY better than I do! (I just might do that)

The picture that she just posted in the previous post was from our "adventure" the day before Valentine's Day(February 13, 2010)

I wanted to get a new picture of all the kids together-
I was actually hoping to get more than just this one.....
but, well, it was 5 against 1 - and let's just say we were doing good to get this one!
the rest of the day went as follows:
I got a couple pictures of the girls before they wanted to go home:
click HERE to see a couple of Jessica -
and HERE to see one of Nicole -
and as for the boys...... the rest of the day was theirs....
I got a couple of pictures before they got dirty:

THEN CAME THE FROG.....

THEN SOME TIME AT THE SKATE PARK WITH A BIKE, RIPSTICK, AND SCOOTER...

THEN (OF COURSE) WE HAD TO SQEEZE IN A LITTLE BIT OF FISHING....

THE FISH.....

AND OF COURSE THERE IS ALWAYS PLENTY OF DIRT:

Crazy Life!!!!!!!

Yes. We are still alive, and healthy! We {mom} have just been too busy, and the blog has been the last thing on our list of things to do. So here is an udate-- from our crazy lifes :)

Dad (yes, this is Jessica- taking over the blog, in all of my "spare" time) finished &passed his firefighting class- congrats dad, we are proud of you!!!
Mom is staying EXTREMELY busy with photography- and has become simply amazing at it! (dianebphotography.blogspot.com) Along with her photography she chauffeurs us everywhere--thanks mom!!!
Jessica finally completed the freshman yearbook, almost has her Young Women's Medallion, and just started club volleyball (hooray--5:30 a.m) :D
Eric has just finished basketball, and is moving on to baseball (we are ecstatic about this sport-- NOT joking!!! this is our fave. time of the year!)
Nicole works diligently on her Faith in God, is doing great in school (she loves both math and reading) and somehow manages to keep the younger boys amused!
Ryan is an excellent reader, loves to run laps around the field to earn little feet for his necklace, and is still missing 3 of his front teeth. :D hehe too cute!
Jason keeps the family on their toes, no one is funnier than this kid-- he LOVES big words and thinks things are "peculiar" he just cracks us up!!! He keeps a close eye on our older neighbor Maggie, and love to visit grandma(s) and grandpa(s).

Well we hope you are all well, and can't wait to see you!
