my BABY is THREE

I am THREE!!!

THIS MORNING MY GOOD BUDDY,STEVE, DELIVERED BIRTHDAY CARDS WITH $$$ IN THEM FROM HIM & FROM KEN AND IRENE - THANKS GUYS!!!

TONIGHT -WE HAD GRANDMA BRINKERHOFF COME OVER FOR DINNER & CAKE AND ICECREAM....

ALSO, MY GRANDPA AND GRANDMA WALKER.....

HERE'S ME WITH MY BARNEY CAKE THAT I HELPED MOM MAKE....(Jason has been loving Barney videos for about the last three weeks. The big kids are not too sure about his choice in Barney - but I remind them that the only reason we have Barney stuff is because they once liked Barney too.)

I think Jason has had to smile for the camera one too many times lately!

McKay or McCain???

Nicole came home today and proudly announced that she voted for David O. McKay today during their "3rd grade voting".
McKay sounding a bit like McCain???
I guess I am pleased that she knew "David O." went with McKay.
Just last week she was asking me to explain to her the difference of the "President" and our "Prophet/President" of our church.
Hmmmmmmm - I guess she is still a bit confused!
We all(including Nicole) got a good chuckle out of this!

ERIC'S FIRST BASKETBALL GAME 11/1/08

AAU Basketball is in full swing....... you'll know where to find us on Saturdays now.

This was the last stop of the night(our favorite "Wright" family!!!) by this time, everyone was pretty tired, and not looking so festive. Jason had completely disassembled his costume. He was completely wore out from helping at Ryan's school party that morning, eating sugar ALL day, as well as not napping because we hung out at Eric's BB practice from 1:30-3:00. After practice we decided to visit a few neighbors before going to the church's trunk-or-treat at 6:30! What an exhausting, crazy holiday we celebrate!

SPECIAL DELIVERY

Jason has become buddies with the garbage men. This summer he was always outside when they showed up on Wednesday mornings, so he would say "hi" or wave to them. I don't think he has missed a week! The last week of summer, they asked John if he could have a ride down to the end of the lane and back.(I know, I know, this can only happen in our neck of the woods!). You can see Eric hopped on the back.
Well, now that it is cooler, we haven't been outside as much. But, when we hear the garbage truck coming, we always open the front door and say "Hi" AND "THANKYOU"(because I think we really do owe them the HUGEST thankyou ever for the job they do!!!!!!!!)
Anyway, last Wednesday, we opened the door to wave, and the garbage man(I really should know his name by now) motioned for us to come out. I carried Jason out, and the garbage man pulled out this BIG pumpkin from the passenger seat and carried it to our front step! I thought it was SO thoughtful.
WE COULD ALL BE MORE THOUGHTFUL....
